BECAUSE THE ONLY SHARP WEAPON THAT EARNS RESPECT - IS A #SHARPMIND

We innovate change by engaging young people with authentic youth culture.

Keep It 100 was established as a CIC on January 8th 2020 and is a collaborative voluntary organisation working closely with our partners to champion positive and productive life choices for under 25’s.

Keep It 100 is akin to being real / authentic in youth culture. We are unapologetic in our commitment to authentically representing 2020’s youth.

Or services include the pioneering Keep it 100 Awards which were launched in 2021, amnesty weapon bins located in Chelmsford, a click directory of existing support services for help with negative situations which ultimately lead to exploitation, seeking and creating lived and paid experience in creative fields, and supporting creative pathways for under 25’s, highlighting positive news and assisting in raising aspirations with our hugely successful Keep It 100 Awards with prize packages including Mentoring from Creative Industry leaders. Additionally digital workshops and training for professionals for who want to better engage disengaged young people.

The organisations Founder, Luisa Di Marco is passionate about highlighting the often irreversible impact of youth violence, including violence against women and girls, and the catastrophic consequences of life time damage it causes mentally and physically. Through her time experiencing violence, she relied on her creativity as a source of positivity and strength.

The roots of violent behaviour stems from childhood adversities, only by working together can we change it. Seldom is a person born violent, the irreversible effects I have personal experience of, are the driving force behind my passion to empower our communities against the harms of violence. Identifying a creative outlet and engaging it it can promote positive inclusion, raise self esteem and open the possibility of a creative career pathway.
